Feel The Power
"Feel the Power" was the opening and closing songs for the Images. This group certainly felt the power and so did their audiences. There were 25 members in the group and each one of them came together to help make the Images a big success.
A few choices of the Images' music were "Starmaker," "Beach Boys," "You Are," and "Gonna Have a Party." Under the excellent direction of Julie Gleason, the group choreographed and performed these songs for many people.
The highpoint of the year for the Images, was the traditional two-day tour. They performed two shows the first day, Luckey High and grade school and Westmoreland High and grade school. The night was spent at the Holidome in Manhattan. The following morning the group performed at Riley County High School. The Images then returned home feeling very proud of themselves for the three superb performances.
The year ended with the final concert in which Julie Gleason, director, received a plaque for her outstanding help and dedication to the group. Now that it is over, each member will always carry with them that "Feeling of Power" of the Images '85.
