Singing And Dancing

Singing, Dancing, performing, laughing, and having fun are all parts of one organization: Images. This talented group began at the end of the each school year when tryouts were held to determine the new members. Practices began shortly after the beginning of the following school year.

Then there were those early morning practices that brought every member of Images to school at 7:00 a.m. each Wednesday. Donuts were often provided to motivate everyone to work on songs and choreography.

The first concert of the year for Images was held on December 20, 2001. This performance was centered around a winter and Christmas theme. Images sang many different songs which included "Yule Be Swinging'" and "Christmas Angel."

After the winter concert was over, the Images began working on songs to prepare for the tour and spring concert. On May 6,2002, the Images went on their traditional tour. While on tour, they went tos places such as Country View Estates and Nemaha Valley Junior High.

That night, the members of Images finished up the year with their spring concert. The female Images opened up with "Respect" and all the Images sang other songs like "Rock and Roll is Here to Stay" and "My Everything." The senior Images sang a song titled "World's Greatest."

Despite all of the stress that came with being ready for performances, Images had a very successful year. Everything pulled together in the end, as they sang and danced their way into spotlights.
