When We All Sing Together

It takes a significant amount of talent to sing, dance, and perform together and still have fun. The Images have just the right amount of talent to do all of the above.

The group formed at the end of the last school year when tryouts were held to determine who was talented enough to join; the practices began shortly after. The Images began displaying their dedication when they were required to show up fro the dreaded 7:00 a.m. practices each Wednesday morning. Doughnuts and juice were treats that appeared occasional Wednesdays for the Images to enjoy.

The first concert of the year was held December 9, 2003. The song featured were: "Santa Baby," "Angel," Sleigh Ride," and "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)."

The Images went on their annual tour May 10, 2004. They visited several different locations, including area nursing homes and grade schools. The program they performed included: "Ain 't No Mountain High Enough,"Tears In Heaven," and "Footloose." Michael Zinke was featured with a solo to "You Raise Me Up." The four senior Images also sang solos in the song "I Will Remember You." The spring concert was held that night, and the same songs were performed. That concluded the year for the Images.

The Images were definitely relieved when the stressful year was over, but they also felt a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Their many successes displayed what could happen when they all sang together.
