Talent Coming Alive

Ask for music and there are many ways in which to hear it. There's the singing in perfect harmony from concert choir or girls' glee, dancing and singing in unison on the Images, blare of instruments at ball games from the pep band, and for great entertainment there's the musical talents of the jazz band. All together they produce an outstanding music department.
Theresa Bain, teacher of choir and Images, was happy to add six males to the group. This allowed for a tougher and wider selection of music and gave the Images the chance to make up their own routines for performances and their two-day tour in Missouri. "Besides just singing, I wish for them to become more aware of concepts of music and the singing of dynamics-musicianship," said Bain.
At regionals the girls' glee received a II. At state, concert choir received III ratings.
