Rising Voices

"We still don't get our part, Mr. Colgrove." "What's that note again?" "How do you say that word?"
A variety of questions similar to those could be heard if one was venturing into the fourth hour vocal music class. The choir sang many different styles of music throughout the year, which made the questions even more interesting.
The selections of the pieces was very important. The group had to like the songs in order for them to enjoy working on them. "Tears in Heaven" was one of the favorite songs during the year.
"Vocal was really fun this year. We worked on some neat pieces and they sounded great," Jessica , so., said.
Time and effort were the two main factors for making the music ready to be performed. An immense amount of both were needed.
"Entertaining the audience at concerts is one of the choir's main purposes. When they like the music, it makes the effort even more rewarding," Jennifer , jr., said.
