Glorious
Voices
"To me, Vocal is just as important as sports. It helps me get through
the day and adds some fun to my schedule," Kim , soph.,
said.
The choir made their first performance of the year at the annual Christmas
concert. To make it the best it could be, they worked on intonation
and dynamics as well as rhythm continually until it was time for their
performance. They performed five songs: "Alleluia," "Song
for Joy," "Carol of the Bells," "O Holy Night,"
and "Jubilate Deo." The remaining time before the Christmas
holiday was spent picking out songs for the League Vocal Concert.
"Vocal is an interesting class that offers you a chance to improve
your singing voice. I can really tell my voice has improved," Sara
Lackey, soph., said.
"I really took the class to fill my schedule. I didn't know if
I wanted to take it, but since I like music, I decided to. I'm really
glad I took it. I look forward to it more than most of my classes. Working
on songs and preparing for concerts and competitions was really fun,"
Joey , soph., said.
