Singing with Voice and Heart

"Vocal is a good way for me to start my day. It helps me wake up and gets me thinking on track, so I'm better prepared for my other classes," Katie , soph., said.
The choir set their goal to reach state for the second year in a row. On their road to state, the choir had many performances. One of which was the school's annual Christmas concert where they performed "Canticle of Carols," "Carol of the Bells," "Wassail Song," and "Winter Wonderland."
Then, they had to prepare for regionals. In preparation, they had to learn new songs. The group practiced hard, so they could match last year's performance. To do this, the choir worked on music theory and did voice exercises to get a better feel for their music and voice.
"Vocal is one of my favorite classes. It helps me relax and get my mind off some of my other school work," Michelle , soph., said.
