Lights... curtain... action! The clock was ticking and the time had almost arrived. Anticipation of the 1st annual dinner theater, "A Fate Worse than Death," beat through the hearts of the actors and actresses waiting for the curtain to rise. While the performers made lad minute, preparations, the audience enjoyed a flavorable feast catered by Alice and served by the drill team.
"A Fate Worse than Death," a melodrama directed by Cathy, was performed on two nights Friday, Novembers 9th and Saturday, November 10th. The two hour performance began at 7:00 on Friday and the dinner theater started Saturday night at 6:30.
There was a hero who saved the day... Oooh! A heroine who was more sinned against than sinned... Ahh! A villain determined to ruin everything.. Booo! and everyone else who became involved in this hilarious, but suspenseful plot.
Although interest in drama had been slim in the past, many students showed the desire to become either a part of the cast or the crew. Through hours of tiresome practice and dedication, these people worked together to create an enjoyable and successful evening for all.
