"Murder..." this line recited by senior, Julie, was heard by all that attended the 2004 NV Play "Murder in the Heir" by Billy St. John. The play was performed on Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the high school commons. On saturday the 13th, there was a dinner theater which started at 6:00. They served chicken cordon bleu or smoked pork chop and was followed by the play production.
The play had a little twist this year, the audience had to assist the cast with the ending of the play. It was a murder mystery in which the audience had to vote on who they thought the murderer was. The votes were counted and the cast member with the most votes performed as the murderer. On Friday night the votes were close, but Emily won by one vote. Saturday night was a different story, Chelsey blew away the suspect competition by over 30 votes.
"It was so awesome that I got to be the killer! I was nervous, but I knew I could pull it off. I even made my cousin believe that I really did kill him," Chelsey, soph., said.
