Dance Your Best The drill team works hard all year to perfect their motions and movements so they will look their best when performing. Being on the team requires a lot of hard work and dedication. The girls have to raise money for camp, attend camp, and make it through 7:00 a.m. practices. “I had a blast at drill team camp. I was glad to be there, but it was really nice to go home, and eat something besides camp food.” Joni, soph., said. The girls disciplines themselves all season and learned eleven different dances. This year they had the perfect opportunity to show off their dancing skills. Nemaha Valley hosted sub-state, so the squad got to perform at every NV boys basketball game. ‘It was exciting to perform at the championship game during sub-state,” Haley, sr., states. |
