Entertainment Worth Watching

Drill team can be defined as working together as a team to impress an audience of all types. The squad practiced once a week, or more to critique routines and performances throughout the year. These girls had an extremely successful season, receiving the superior award at camp, as well as the spirit stick.

“Camp was a fun experience and yet challenging. We had to work really hard and practice a lot to learn the new routines. IT was a great place to meet new people as well,’ Trista, soph., said.

Having twelve members on the squad, really helps the girls to stick together and have fun. “I love being on drill team.
We are really close-knit. We’re all like sisters,” Shayla, sr., said.

The girls began their season at the end of March, and continued through to mid-March of this past year. Their hard work and determination carried throughout the season with a positive attitude and lots of smiles.
