1973 Kayette Members
At the K.A.Y Conference in Horton, the Kayettes received their 3000 point award. Working for the 1000 point award this year, the Kayettes sponsored two bakesales and thier second Easter Egg Hunt for the Head Start Children. This year, the girls were seperated into color teams and each month a team baked a birthday cake for the teachers. The Kayette of the year was also a new addition on the Kayette Program. Diana Ehrsam worked very hard for her honor.

1973 KAY Members
This year, with a little help from the Kayettes, the Kays managed to get the NVHS Homecoming Bonfire constructed. The Kays and Kayettes also held a party and a hayrack ride. The Kays had a Slave-Day, Crop Collection, and a Christmas party. The Kays helped the community by taking a Volunteer Survey. Again this year, the boys took the Head Start children to the Topeka Zoo. As a financial project, the Kays sponsored a Bake Sale.
