NV KAY's History

Without the help of the Legislative Council the Nemaha Valley KAY's wouldn't be where they are today because of the Legislative Council they started the idea of having schools have a character-building, leadership-training club program. They thought of this idea on October 13, 1945. On December 15, 1945 the Board of Control decided to make twelve requirements for the program. Then on June 7, 1946 Wanda May Vinson was named the director of the KAY club. If these developments wouldn't have occured the Nemaha Valley KAY's may not even be here today, but because of it we are here. Since 1945 the Nemaha Valley KAY's have come a long way.
