Student Body Leaders

Student Council is a good way to get involved in the school. They take on many activities to get the student body active. The student council works to make the school a fun and better places.
Student Council puts on a variety of activities. They have a back-to-school dance at the beginning of the school year. This is a time to sign yearbooks and get back into the routine of school life. They also have candy machines to make money for activities and to give the student body something to munch on during break or lunch.
One of StuCo's biggest projects is Homecoming. During the week, they have dress up days and each class decorates a certain spot in the school building. They also put on the homecoming olympics, which leads to the bonfire. At the end of that week, StuCo crowns the king and queen of all eight senior candidates. Then following the football game is the homecoming dance.
As you can see there are many things that StuCo is responsible for. Student Council is an organization of leadership and is important. To think of school without Student Council, is like an oreo without the filling, you just need it there.
