Running to exceed the limits…

Run hard or run home, the theme that describes this year’s team very well. Determination and willpower have brought the team together and helped them be successful. It’s been a great season. This group has completed a lot of team goals and made improvements individually.

“This is my seventh year as the Cross Country coach at Nemaha Valley. I always tell the runners that cross country is really a unique sport. Because we are such a small group, we are more like a family than a team. Not very many people can run three miles everyday, sometimes even more than that. Everyone knows each other, along with each person’s aches and pains.” Coach Jon Thomas, said.

“I love it. I am able to compete with people of equal ability.” Jeremy Stallbaumer, soph., said.

Cooperation goes into making a good team and they definitely did a great job!
