The Raiders' goal for the season were simple; win league, sub-state, and state. With success that the Raiders have had in previous years, these were normal goals. The Raiders did win the league title, but their state hopes were crushed in the finals of sub-state against Immaculata.

With a senior-dominated team, the Raiders were expected to do well under first-year coach, Jon Thomas. The Raiders did just that.

The Raiders, picking up where they left off from last year's state tournament team, finished the season with a lofty 18-5 record. The team, however, came up short against Immaculata in the sub-state final, 54-47.

Besides being the first varsity boys team in six years to win the league title, the Raiders also placed third in the Raider Classic. The team also showed why they were one of the best teams in the state by demolishing 4-A state qualifier, Jeff West, in both of their meetings.
