This year’s golf team had big shoes to fill coming form last year’s season. The team had to be focused and dedicated to accomplish the goals they set for themselves.

“All we need is four who want to be state champions!” Mr. Hynek, coach, said.

This was true through out the season. There were many tournaments where the tea had one or two good scores but not all four.

Although the team did not accomplish what they wanted to from the start of the season, there were still some high points. The team won two league quads. they also placed 3rd at regionals, coming in close behind Rossville.

Colin Olberding, soph., placed 1st at regionals, and Mark Olberding, sr., 7th, which qualified them for state.

At state, Colin Olberding, soph., finished 20th medalist, while Mark Olberding, sr., had a tough day.
