The girls had a good season, taking five first place trophies in six meets and placing second in the league meet at Sabetha, being beaten only by Shawnee Heights. The team took second place in the Regional track meet at Basehor out of 28 schools, qualifying six girls for the State track meet at Wichita. Those girls were: Amy , Julie , Lisa , Tammy , Jamie and Sue . Sue took fourth in the softball throw and the relay team took sixth.
