The 1984 track team had a very successful season, with several state qualifiers and new school records being set. The girls' team won 3rd place in the League Track meet. School records were set by James Hilbert in 110 Meter High Hurdles and in the 300 Intermediate Hurdles and by Chris in Javelin. The Girls' 4X400 Meter Relay Team also set a school record. The state qualifiers included: Girls' 4X100 Relay Team- Misty , Lena , Elly , and Renae ; Girls' 4X200 Relay Team - Misty , Lena , April , and Renae ; and James in 110 Meter High Hurdles. The Girls' 4X200 Relay Team won 6th place at State. Track coaches were Scott and Eric .
