The girls 400 relay team of Misty, sr., Jerlayn, fr., Lena, sr., and Brenda, fr., went undefeated the entire season before losing at the State Track Meet held at Wichita. The team placed fifth with a time of 51.9 seconds. Three school records were broken during the season. Cassie Clark, fr., broke the girls 1600 meter run and 3200 meter run with times of 5:54 and 12:37. She also took fifth at state with a time of 12:37. The boys 3200 meter relay team, Brian, jr., Andy, so., Curtis, sr., set a new school record, breaking the old mark with a time of 8:30, and placed fifth at state.
